Hello again!
As probably none of you know, my family and I just recently moved to Arizona. This is a completely new thing to me, I've never lived in the desert or out West, but so far I'm really enjoying it here. We live just outside of Phoenix, so where it's very hot and desert-y and dry. There's town up in the surrounding mountains that have more normalized weather (gets cold, even snows, in the winter, leaves change, etc.), one of which is Prescott, AZ.
We planned this whole daycation the day before and I couldn't have been more excited, Massachusetts weather(ish)! It's about three hours from us, but the road trip itself is just as fun as exploring the destination, so we didn't mind. We got to drive up some suuuuper twisty, windy, and steep roads and enjoy a lot of really cool scenery. We had a ball and went to quite a few pretty historic sites, and McKenzie loved all of the people that just had to come say hello to her!
Here are some photos of our very fun -very long- day:
Thanks for visiting my blog, we had tons of fun in Prescott. It reminded me very much of Massachusetts, which was so cool. If you live in the area and can make the trip it's totallllly worth it and I highly recommend doing so!
Happy Monday!:)
