So recently I was playing around with the idea of investing in the ABH Dipbrow pomade. I have naturally pretty thick brows but for whatever reason the tails are kind of non-existent and a pencil/powder just looks chalky when having to draw in the entire tail.
Then it hit me: my Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe is too cool and muted to use as a base without it making my eyeshadows look muddy. However, it would probably make a GREAT brow pomade.
low and behold, it works!
Granted my brows didn't come out very well today (they did at 8pm last night though, of course when we had no where to be) but the color match and consistency is perfect! Every brow product I've ever used was always, always, always too warm and finally this isn't. My brows have very cool undertones and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe matches perfectly without looking "sharpie-filled".
For those of you on a budget I would highly reccomend it, and although I've only tried the shade Tough as Taupe I know they have a whole matte collection where lighter hair colors could maybe find a decent match. Even if not it's worth a peek!
They're available at CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Ulta, & even some Bed Bath & Beyonds.
I hope I could help some of you looking for that HG brow product. Thanks for reading happy Sunday!:)
